Hi, I am Ahmad. I am a language agnostic developer with a keen interest in back end development. I like building projects that me and my team can be proud of. I am kind of a detail obsessed person down to the code level, which makes me want to write clean, readable, maintanable and scalable code that I can be proud of. When I am not working as a coder, you can find me creating and animating 3D models and sculptures, learning a new framework or prgramming language, chilling with my siblings, tinkering with game development in Unity, playing Overwatch, Mortal Kombat or making videos. I summarise Outpost as "Tinder for Startups and Investors". Outpost is a brain-child of a small group of investors & founders that were fed up with the traditional process of making & getting introductions. Cold calling, LinkedIn messages, the unflattering process of social begging, email overload, etc. We hate it. So, we decided to reinvent the process. We call it Outpost.
I was part of the core team, working on the back-end, front-end as well as servers to launch the beta version of the product. The product was launched within deadline and raised initial funding of half a million dollars on launch.

Moneynetint Ltd. is a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated Fintech System and is authorised under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 for issuing electronic money (Reg. No. 900190)
I was part of the back end REST API team in an agile team, to develop, test and maintain the back end system of the banking software. My work mostly involved working on the REST APIs and management Portal of the Fintech system using Core PHP, OOP PHP and MVC.

SaaS (Software as a Service) app. The app involved working with junior PHP developer and involved working in a small team of developers, graphic designer and testers. The app has a client side app for customers and a full-fledged admin panel dashboard for the owner. The app was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Vanilla PHP, fpdf.
June 2018 - October 2018
Built the Jewelry Management Web Application from scratch and was responsible for planning and designing the app from ground up, i.e. developing SRS, designing database architecture and collaborating with other developer. Used CodeIgniter, JavaScript and jQuery in the project to create REST like API.
February 2018 - March 2018
A full stack Angular App in collaboration with front end engineer, where I was responsible for developing the back end RESTful API using OOP PHP.

A CMS type web application with Admin Panel Dashboard for a small business, dealing in handcrafted items. The app was an Inventory and Stock Management App. The app was built from scratch using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, PHP (Laravel), mpdf, Bootstrap.
August 2017 - October 2017
Full-stack web application for courier service company. The application is an Invoice Management Web Application built from scratch using Core PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, mpdf, handsontable.js. Was responsible for designing the front end and back end from scratch from start to finish. Also, responsible for testing, deploying, migrating and maintaining the software.

Some of my recent work
A high performant prototype of an advance photo app for user with low bandwidth Internet connection. The app was built as a prototype with Indian user's in mind so that UI/UX is intiuitive and fast and responsive. The back end uses python to process images in memory and compresses and uploads them in three rendations before uploading to AWS S3 bucket, so that upload is blazing fast.
The UI has two modules : A gallery module with infinite scroll and dynamic loading of photos on the fly as user scrolls through the page and a fast and snappy slideshow feature. The gallery is also grouped according to the upload date. The Upload page contains a easy to use drag and drop and multiple file selection upload feature with simultenous uploading of photos.
A mini personal car inventory management app built using custom PHP MVC Framework, Bootstrap, JavaScript and AJAX.
A WebGL experimental game, made over a weekend as a birthday gift. Used Unity and C# to build the game.
A small hobby project built on a weekend evening for a special person :)
